Crafty Syntax Live Help (CSLH)

CSLH is a free, open source live support solution that helps customer support with live help functionality that can be proactively pushed to visitors to your site or requested by the customer. Immediate customer interaction is often the key to increased customer satisfaction and sales.
CSLH includes a large range of features to allow multiple operators, multiple departments and multiple languages to be used. Other highlighted features include the ability to create your own questions; automatically inviting visitors; referrer tracking; page tracking; the ability to view what the customer is typing as they type; multiple chat sessions; sound alerts; the ability to leave a message if offline; push URL’s; quick responses; customizable graphics; and multiple operators.

CSLH is essentially made up of two core components; namely the management interface that manages the live help interactions (chat sessions) and the end user interface, where the consumers type for chat. The management interface is a powerful, feature-rich dashboard that, inter alia, provides for multiple chat session interactions, user tracking and reporting. The end user interface is the chat window that can also include a tab for a user-driven, self-help question and answer. The management interface does most of the work and will generate the code that you will need to place on the pages where you want your live help button to appear.
Over and above web pages, CSLH also offers the ability to embed “click for live help” buttons into emails as well.
