Siteframe

Siteframe is a free, lightweight CMS designed for the rapid development of community-based websites. It stores information in a MySQL database and is scripted using PHP. Unlike most CMS’s, Siteframe does not use a GPL license but instead is licensed under Creative Common License. Creative Common is a non-profit organization devoted to expanding the range of creative work available for others to legally build upon and share. The organization has released several copyright licenses known as Creative Common Licenses. These licenses, depending on the one chosen, restrict certain rights of the work.
With Siteframe, a group of users can share stories and photographs, create blogs, send email to each other, and participate in group activities. Siteframe enables this by providing web-based content management so that anyone can create content without having to learn HTML. Siteframe also supports user profiling and other folder management, where users can create “folders” much like categories and store content in those folders.
